The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in the financial aid process. The applicaiton is reqired to receive federal aid including the Federal Pell Grant and student loans, as well as need-based grants.
Parents and students alike are invited to Wayne College for a series of free workshops designed to make the process easier.
When: Feb. 4, March 3, April 14 - 9 a.m.-noon
Where: Wayne College, 1901 Smucker Rd., Orrville, Main Building, computer lab A225
What to bring: Photo ID and 2011 tax returns or W 2's if taxes have not been completed, as well as your social security number, 2011 untaxed income records, other records of money earned, and investment records.
Register by calling the Wayne College Student Services Center at 330-684-8942. However, walk-ins are welcome.
