Full Moon Walk: Moon of Ice Mon., Feb. 6, 5:30 p.m.
Walk under the light of the full moon. This year, we’re exploring the Celtic names for full moons. Have you seen ice-covered branches lit by the moonlight? We may not be that lucky, but we will see ice on lake or pond. We’ll meet in the parking lot, then go for a quiet walk to see and hear evening wonders. Readings from favorite nature writers will help us discover and enjoy the seasons. Dress for the weather. You may bring a flashlight, but try not to use it. We’ll cancel if it’s raining, snowing, or the weather’s dangerous—check our Facebook page after 4 p.m. if there’s any doubt. Free for TWC members; donation requested from nonmembers.
