Help Celebrate WaCPAC's 30th

The Wayne County Performing Arts Council (WaCPAC) is celebrating its 30th anniversary on June 1, and would like to invite past WaCPAC volunteers to come join the celebration by performing and by contributing photos to be displayed. Also, volunteers are needed to help with the celebration!
Anyone who has participated in past WaCPAC productions, on stage or behind-the-scenes, is invited to perform in the opening and closing numbers of "WaCPAC Flashback: Celebrating 30 Years of Entertaining," a fundraiser that will be held on Friday, June 1 at the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center. Children are needed to sing in the chorus for "Any Dream Will Do" from the show Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Volunteers are also needed to help decorate, serve hors d’oeuvres at the event starting at 6 p.m. and pass out programs for the performance that will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The WaCPAC Flashback will feature actors performing their songs from past musicals in which they appeared. Among those performing will be Bob Baab, Dick and Tina Benson, Henry Bishop and Karen Wood, Donald Curie, Bryan Fetty, Bill and Christa Hatfield, Roseann Anfang, Bob and Laurie Schang, Margaret Leatherman, Tiffany Noe, Sweet Spirit, and a host of others!
Directing the program is Margaret Leatherman, and the musical director is Randy Claes. David Drumm, Sr. and Zack Armstrong will emcee the festivities and will also pay tribute to WaCPAC members who have passed away.
The opening and closing numbers will require only minimal rehearsals. Also, photos are needed from past WaCPAC productions to be used in displays and a photo montage that will be shown during the performances. Anyone interested in performing, helping out or who may have photos WaCPAC could copy, should call Margret Leatherman at 330-465-6430 as soon as possible.
Tickets for the event are $25 (this is a tax deductible donation) and are available at Buehler’s Milltown and Buehler’s in Orrville, by calling 330-465-6430 or by visiting www.wacpac.org .
