Italian Cheese with Fran Grande-Fuller

In this class you will get to sample six different 100% genuine & imported Italian Cheeses which can be classified in many ways from Soft to Hard, or Cow’s Milk vs Sheep’s Milk, and even Table Cheese vs Grating Cheese. Fran, experienced TKS instructor and our Italian connoisseur, will explain all of the differences in these cheeses all while students get to taste a sample of each. She will also make two recipes using the "Cooking" Cheeses she will be bringing with her. Class hand-outs will include Menu Ideas and Wine Pairing Ideas. Also, because MOST or all of the Cheese that Fran will be bringing along cannot be not found in local stores, she will be selling the left-over cheese after class! I’ve had the opportunity to taste a lot of these cheeses and I never really had Italian Cheese until I tasted the real thing!

This class is being held on Monday, May 7th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the TKS Demonstration Kitchen. This class is a tasting style class where you will get to sample 100% Imported Italian Cheeses, learn the differences between them, taste recipes, and take recipe ideas home with you. The price of the class is $25 plus tax per person and the menu being planned is:

• Ricotta (Cooking)
• Mozzarella di Bufala (Cooking, Table)
• Provolone (Table)
• Parmigiano Reggiano (Grating, Table)
• Fiori di Sardenia (Grating, Table)
• Pecorino Romano (Grating, Table)

**Any participant that wishes to purchase any of the cheeses enjoyed may do so after class. Student discount does not apply to cheese purchases.
