This is the second day of the Johnny Appleseed Festival which is held at the Village Park from 5-11 p.m. There will be a Chicken BBQ and entertainment for the whole family . Chicken will be served from 5-8 p.m. There will also be Bingo and a variety of booths and games available for all ages. If you are registered for the parade, please be at the Ford Garage in Apple Creek at 3 p.m. The parade will begin at 4 p.m. There is no charge to enter the parade and prizes will be awarded in the catagories of antique, classified, and mayor's choice plus float prizes for historical, musical and best float. These prizes wil be awarded at 6 p.m. The Water Barrel Fight will begin at 6 p.m. also. Entries for the Apple Pie Baking Contest must be at Mayor Carson Hall by 5 p.m. Pie awards will be given at 6 p.m. and then the pies will be auctioned off. Honored Citizen will be announced at 7 p.m. and The Angels will provide the musical entertainment from 8-11 p.m. Come out and join us for an evening of entertainment and good food.
