Sauces: Bechemel & Veloute with Chef Sherry Schie **RESCHEDULED*
When prepared properly, a sauce is the crowning glory of any dish. In total, there are Five "Mother" sauces that have literally hundreds of variations that are used to bring out the flavor of a dish. In this class, we will explore two of the Mother Sauces (Bechemel and Veloute), and two variations of each of the sauces, so in total you will get to discover 6 different sauces with Jazzy Cooking's, Chef Sherry Schie.
Chef Sherry spent her summer working in the kitchen of the Wooster Inn learning everything she already didn't know about food preparation and handling. Now that Sherry has had her "real life" experience, she is back to continue passing on her knowledge to you. Sherry is a wonderful, experienced TKS instructor with a delightful personality and a passion for food. Whether this is your first TKS class, or you're a returning student, this is surely a class you won't want to miss!
This class is being held on Wednesday, February 1 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the TKS Demonstration Kitchen. This class is a demonstration style class where you will explore six sauces in total and taste them on prepared foods such as meats and pastas. The price of the class is $22 plus tax per person and the menu being planned is:

Basic Béchamel Sauce plus two variations you can make with it

Basic Velouté Sauce plus two variations you can make with it
