Mukimono Melon Carving with Ann Griffith
Ann Griffith has been practicing Mukimono, the Japanese art of fruit & vegetable carving, for a long time and we are so lucky to have her passing this art form on to the students of TKS. In her 2
nd class at TKS, she will guide students through making hands-on Melon Flowers made of things such as Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Grapes, and even a little vegetable Radish for flair! Each student will make their own, individualized Melon Flower and also learn how to make tiny flowers which can be incorporated into plate decorations or even a whole bowl of Fruit-Salad-Flowers! What a perfect way to celebrate a baby-shower or wedding this summer! So whether you’re planning a party, or just really wanting to learn Fruit & Vegetable Carving techniques, Ann is a true professional and you won’t want to miss this class!
This class is being held on
Saturday, June 30th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the TKS Demonstration Kitchen. This class is a
hands-on style class where each student is required to bring their best Chef Knife AND their best Paring Knife and learn how to carve flowers our of Melons. The price of the class is
$26 plus tax per person and the itinerary being planned is:
