Description / Mission Statement:
The Disaster Team volunteer responds to disaster type emergencies for the American Red Cross locally, and can be trained to respond to national large disasters. Under the guidance of professional Red Cross staff, the volunteer helps local residents recover from crisis.

Skills / Background Needed:
Various backgrounds and skills are useful. Nurses and Licensed counselors are always needed.

Estimated Time Commitment: 4-8 hours a month - training classes as needed
