Suitable for the beginner who would like to work in a more relaxed environment, this class progresses slowly and is open to adult beginners. The class will introduce basic movement, vocabulary and French terminology as well as safe stretching techniques and practices. Dancers will learn proper body alignment, positions of the feet and arms, and begin fundamental barre and center work. There will be no studio performance for adults; this is a low-pressure form of exercise.
