The American Cancer Society is in need of volunteers from Wayne County for the Road To Recovery program.
On Friday, August 23rd the Society will host information sessions in Wayne County for interested volunteers. There are two locations and times to choose from. Option one is from 10:00-11:30am at Wooster Main Library and option two is from 2:00-3:30pm at Dalton Library.
Volunteers drive cancer patients from their community to treatment appointments and get to make their own schedule. Volunteer requirements: Access to a safe and reliable vehicle, some flexible availability Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm, and access to a computer or tablet. The American Cancer Society will provide a training and complete a background check on all interested volunteers.
