BEAT THE BLUES DRUM CIRCLES led by JENNI REUSSER—Beat the Blues Drum Circles, invites you to join the fun in finding rhythms to sooth, sounds to move and get in your groove. Step on in to the pavilion and join the circle, select your instrument and follow the group as we relieve stress and worry, and energize body, mind and spirit. There will be drums and percussions instruments to share, but you can bring you own drum or rhythm makers, too. Even your handy old bucket or beat up spoons can add to the tones and melody making. Drum circle experiences relieve tension and release negativity. Come and put a smile on your face while we make music together. Dancing is also encouraged!
Concerts are held at Rehm Gazebo, lower Orr Park, 400 North Elm Street from 7-9 p.m. There are scattered park benches to sit on or feel free to bring your own chair, blanket and picnic snacks. Aultman Orrville has partnered up to provide free blood pressure screenings before the start of the concerts. Donations are accepted throughout the entire concert season as these are all brought to you thru the generous donations of area residents and businesses alike. In case of inclement weather, the show goes on! Orrville City Schools has allowed us to use the auditorium (815 N. Ella St) in the event of rain. We will announce it on our Facebook page as well as contacting WQKT to announce it as well. Contact Jeanne to make your donation 330-684-5001.
