"The Complexities of Conducting International Clinical Research,” a lecture delivered by Dr. Diane Jorkasky, who is an expert on drug development and international medicine. Dr. Jorkasky, 2016 winner of Penn Medicine’s “Women in Medicine” award is currently president of her own research and consulting business which emphasizes translational pharmacology. She has also served as vice president of Global Clinical Research Operations at Pfizer Global Research and Development, where she led clinical research units in the U.S, Europe, and Asia. The research units under Dr. Jorkasky’s supervision were the first in the pharmaceutical industry to be awarded certification by the American Accreditation for Human Rights Protection Policies.
