Everyone participating in Orrville Public Library's December Cookbook Club will enjoy "Baking Yesteryear: The Best Recipes from the 1900s to the 1980s." You will soon be baking Chocolate Potato Cake from the 1910s and an Avocado Pie from the 1960s. This decade-by-decade cookbook by B. Dylan Hollis includes some of the best blast-from-the-past recipes, and even a few of the worst. Who wouldn't want to try Chocolate Sauerkraut Cake or Potato Chip Cookies?
The cookbook will be available at Orrville Public Library's Circulation Desk. Prepare a dish or two to share with others and plan to come to our 6 p.m. Cookbook Club meeting on Monday, December 2. No registration is necessary.
