Dean Chance: His Life and Legend exhibit

Dean Chance won the 1964 Cy Young Award at age 23 and that was just the tip of the iceberg of his incredible life.

This exhibit will highlight Dean Chance’s life including high school, Major League Baseball, after baseball, and Hall of Fame honors, and will even include family photos.

We are excited to share this extensive exhibit, sponsored by RES Auction Services, with you. 

The exhibit will be open on Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., July 9 through October 16, 2022. Admission is $5.00 and includes a tour of the historical society grounds as well. Wayne County Historical Society members receive free admission. Admission proceeds benefit the Wayne County Historical Society.
