Shreve American Legion, Forest Post 67, Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 and the Holmes Wayne Electric Cooperative will be hosting their annual Veterans Honor Bus Trip to Washington D.C. Friday, August 23^rd thru the 25^th. The 24 veterans of WWII, Korean and Vietnam and their guardians will be leaving the Shreve Legion the morning of August 23^rd 2019 for their expense paid tour of D.C. including points of interest, War Memorials, Arlington Cemetery and ECT. The bus trip is anticipated to return back VIA S.R. 226 to the parking lot adjacent CVS Pharmacy in Shreve on Sunday, August 25^th 2019. At approximately 6:30 p.m. the  veterans escorted by Rolling Thunder Ohio Chapter 2, Ohio State Patrol Post 85, Wayne County Sheriff's Department and the Shreve American Legion Color Guard will arrive. A brief Veterans Ceremony will be conducted to honor this year's participants. Please line S.R. 226 and Market Street to show your respect and welcome home of all the veterans.
