Presentation: Chris Hart of Newcomerstown combines two areas of personal interest; history and storytelling. Appearing in costume Chris brings to life numerous historical and literary characters (over 50 to date) ranging from Cy Young to Icabod Crane to Peter Daley, a Titanic survivor. In addition, Chris has served as program development manager at Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio. Chris is a member of the Ohio Order of Storytellers and has had the pleasure of performing at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee and for the National Park Service in Pennsylvania. He has also been honored to perform Civil War portrayals in Gettysburg. He will portrays Peter Daley, a first class passenger on the Titanic. He shares why he was on the great ship, what life was like on board, the details of the night of the sinking and how he came to be a survivor. The scene is set 5 years after the sinking and Mr. Daley is standing on the shores of Nova Scotia and is remembering that fateful night. Hosts: County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes.
