MANUFACTURING SAFETY FUNDAMENTALS CERTIFICATE
Every workplace requires an understanding of the essential safety practices that help employees to avoid potential hazards. Although every workplace is unique, there are common safety topics that apply to a wide range of industries and occupations. To help your employees learn about these common safety concerns, The Ohio State University ATI, in conjunction with Tooling U-SME, has developed the Manufacturing Safety Fundamentals Certificate.
The Manufacturing Safety Fundamentals Certificate Program provides a general foundation of safety information that is relevant for every individual in the workplace. The classes include an overview of the major safety topics relevant to manufacturing companies and also identify OSHA requirements that may affect the employer or employee.
This certificate program includes 23 one-hour online courses (to be completed over a 3-month period) covering topics manufacturing experts identified as relevant for manufacturing safety.
After successful completion of all 23 online courses (passed with an 80% or higher) students will receive an electronic certificate of completion.
