Main Street Music! Hard Hat

Hard Hat: Alternative / Alternative Rock, Hard Hat is a 6 piece band out of the Ashland/Wooster area made up of a future teacher, lawyer, data analyst, pilot, computer scientist, and struggling entrepreneur. Together, they strive to pull their wide variety of musical influence to bring audiences their definition of alternative rock. Their music, with inspiration from bands such as the Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Foo Fighters, is a culmination of their combined appreciation of music in allowing for their voices to be heard in an often echoless world. 

Main Street Music brings free! live music entertainment to the pavilion at Wooster's Historic Downtown Square every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 6pm-8pm. Running May 16th thru Sept. 21st, our 2024 season is filled with the best! We are proud to give local musicians a chance to shine & share their talents, giving the pulse of downtown a lively beat. The mix of music at the pavilion has never been better with 54 different musicians this year! A little bit of everyone's favorite to come enjoy. Entertainment in the evenings has never been easier!

We love to see the crowds growing each year in support of local musicians and our downtown streets filled with good tunes. There is nothing quite like seeing young and old alike, gathered in the heart of our community, tapping their toes, bobbing their heads to the beat, and enjoying this shared community space. With a plethora of fantastic take-out, specialty drinks, and DORA beverages all at an arms reach, a wonderful experience is designed for the taking.
