Mindfulness might seem like just another passing fad in today’s world. But the truth is, Mindfulness has been around for thousands of years. What is mindfulness, then? Why is it suddenly all the rage, and what could it possibly do for me? This workshop will explore the history of mindfulness and utilize experiential exercises to help participants cultivate a mindfulness practice that best suits your lifestyle. We will explore scientific research on mindfulness and the brain and engage in discussion on mindfulness practices and how it can help us manage stress, anxiety, depression and much more.
