Observation, Imagination, and the Epheme

The CWAM will present “Printing History: Observation, Imagination, and the Ephemeral” in the Burton D. Morgan Gallery April 16 – May 12 in the Burton D. Morgan Gallery. Organized as part of assistant professor of art history Tracy Cosgriff’s “History of Prints” class, students will research prints selected from the CWAM’s permanent collection during the first half of the semester. The resulting student-curated exhibition—opening on April 16, 2019—will explore the role of print media in shaping cultural definitions of canon, creativity, and industry.
