Origami can be a form of art, a meditative exercise, or simply a fun hobby. Julie Fisher, retired art teacher, will teach a compelling two-part class that will cover all the basics of the Japanese art of paper-folding. In the first class, participants will learn how to make newspaper house slippers, a paper tree, a fish, and a hat. During the second class, participants will make paper airplanes, cups, and hand puppets. Origami paper and guide booklets will be provided in the class cost; must be 16 years of age or older to attend, unless accompanied by an adult.
$15 for one class or $25 for two classes.
Please pay for single class at the Heartland Point information desk.
