The Orrville Lions Club Rib and Music Fest's Children’s Activities will run Saturday, July 31 from Noon-4 pm located on Market Street, between North Vine Street and the Railroad tracks, courtesy of Orrville’s local businesses and community members. Your kids will not want to miss out! The Orrville Lions Club will have a coloring contest. The YMCA will be having an Obstacle Course. The Humane Society will have a poster contest and will be accepting donations. There will be a balloon twister by PhilUP Balloons. New this year will be Touch a Fire Truck and touch a Police Car provided by the Orrville Fire Department and the Orrville Police Department. McDonald’s will have their wheel present for the children to spin for prizes. Albright Welding will have helium balloons for the children. The children will not want to miss the Leap Bot! Science craft provided by the Orrville Public Library. There will be a duck pond provided by the Education Association of Orrville. Make sure to stop by Paradise Church of Brethren’s tent for their crafts and games. Be sure to bring your camera to get a picture with the Lions’ Club mascot, Leo the Lion. Finally, grab some sidewalk chalk to leave your imprint on the sidewalks of beautiful downtown Orrville! It’s going to be an amazing time! Can’t wait to see you!
The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society will have a handful of fun activities of their own at their building, located off Depot St. The Railroad Museum will also be open 4-8 pm Friday night and again Noon-5 pm on Saturday during the Children’s Activities. Stop in and see the model trains and take a lap around the gift shop.
