Outdoor Worship in the Courtyard will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will include music, prayer, and preaching, as well as the chance to see each other in-person with physical distancing (see important guidelines below). If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will cancel and everyone can still watch the live-stream worship on Sunday mornings.
Please plan to park in the south (larger) parking lot and bring your own lawn chairs to sit in. The church is not able to provide seating. The church building will NOT be open to the public, except in case of emergencies. We will NOT have any food or beverages available, but feel free to bring your own water bottle or coffee mug.
Research shows that outdoor gatherings are much safer than indoor gatherings. However, with any gathering, there is some level of risk involved. Please know that no one is "expected" to attend this worship service unless they are ready to do so. There are no extra "attendance points" to be earned by showing up in person. However, we will take attendance so that we have an accurate record of who was there in case contact tracing would be needed. If you're in a high-risk group because of age (65+) or health condition, please carefully consider your risk before attending.
Here are some very important guidelines for our gathering:
If you have any COVID-19 related symptoms, including fever, you MUST stay home.
Physical distancing of at least 6 feet MUST be followed by all who attend.
(You may sit closer than that with your own family grouping)
Sorry, no hugs or handshakes when we gather.
Wearing of masks is strongly encouraged.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
