Location: Front Pottery (Lower level)
During this exclusive event for WCA pottery students, we will fire our pottery outside in a small raku kiln. This process involves removing pieces while they are still red-hot and placing them into a reduced-oxygen environment with flammable materials. This process produces one-of-a-kind surface designs for non-food safe pieces. It can also result in shattered work, but the risk is worth the reward! Must be a current WCA pottery student to enroll.
