The Smithville Community Historical Society and the Wayne County Civil War Round Table are proud to once again host Civil War History Day. Civil War presenters will include Civil War Soldiers from both North and South, playing of taps, a three gun volley salute and the reading of the Gettysburg Address. There will also be Civil War era re-enactors, exhibits and special programs for children in the Heritage Center Schoolhouse. Food, music and more! All buildings in the Pioneer Village will be open to tour. This is a free event
