Smithville Native American Day

The Smithville Community Historical Society presents Native American and Pioneer Day on Saturday September 21 from 10-3pm. There will be an ancient needle work demonstration, arrowhead collection, flint knapper demonstrations plus Native American interpreter John Burke who will offer his interpretation of Lenapi/Delaware Indian, Captain Wolfe (presentation will be at 11am and 2pm at The Church Of God in the Pioneer Village). There will also be food, live music and a 50% off pottery sale. All buildings in the village will be open to tour and don't forget the live weaving demonstrations at the Mishler Mill. This is a free event.
