Join Sarah from Heartland Point and Daphne from Orrville Public Library as they co-host a Virtual Book Discussion at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24. This month’s book to read is “The Tattooist of Auschwitz" by Heather Morris. Copies of the book are available at Orrville Public Library's Circulation Desk.
It is 1942, and Lale Sokolov, a Slovakian Jew, is transported to a concentration camp. He is soon put to work as a tattooist, permanently marking his fellow prisoners. He meets Gita, who is about to become prisoner 34902, and vows to survive the camp and marry her.
Registration for the discussion must be done through Heartland Point’s website by March 22. You will then be contacted with information on how to access the meeting.
