The Wayne County Historical Society’s eight-building campus is open every Saturday, with tours at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, free for those 18 and under. In addition to the permanent collection, special exhibits include a look at Wooster's remarkable Compton family; a celebration of the Seaman Corporation's 75th anniversary; the family history of Charles Follis, the first African American professional football player; and some of the earliest acquisitions and oddities from the historical society's textile collection.
